Naturally Wisconsin Kickoff Celebrates Natural Sector
More than 50 Wisconsin entrepreneurs, investors, brands, farmers, retailers, and industry experts celebrated the natural sector at a kickoff party for Naturally Wisconsin on Feb. 27 at Pasture and Plenty in Madison. Participants celebrated this new initiative to make Wisconsin the best place to launch and scale business in the natural sector.
Presenters Tera Johnson and Peter Robertson, local experts in sustainable and conscious brands who both launched leading businesses in the natural products category, took the mic along with Jamie Valenti-Jordan, Executive Director of Naturally Wisconsin and Food Brand Manager at the Food Finance Institute. “We all know there’s growing consumer demand for natural, healthy, and sustainable foods, beverages, and products,” said Valenti-Jordan. “The importance of the natural sector in our state is undeniable. It’s exciting to bring together all the partners needed to facilitate that through this new Naturally Wisconsin network!”
Guests enjoyed delicious, locally sourced food provided by Pasture and Plenty, a popular Madison-area deli, caterer, and meal kit provider known for their commitment to sustainable and seasonal cuisine. Delicious food was also provided by Wisconsin businesses Fortune Favors, Yaya's Dips, Potter's Crackers, and ZYN.
Naturally Wisconsin is a chapter of the national Naturally Network and a project of the Food Finance Institute, which helps food and farm businesses thrive at every stage through finance-forward training, coaching, and consulting.
